ADDITIONAL SPECIALIST MODULE B – SP2 – QUARRIES AND

CONSTRUCTIONS

OBJECTIVES

Acquire knowledge related to risk factors and prevention and protection measures present in the sectors of competence of the macro-sector. Acquire analytical skills to identify hazards and quantify risks present in the workplace of the sector. Contribute to the identification of appropriate technical, organizational and procedural security solutions for each type of risk. Contribute to identifying suitable PPE for the various processes of the sector. Contribute to the identification of risk factors for which health surveillance is foreseen.

Organization, work phases and work areas of construction sites; The POS; Notes on PSC and PSS; Quarries and mines; DPI; Falls from above and provisional works; Excavation work; Electrical systems and site lighting; Mechanical risk: machinery and equipment; Goods handling: lifting equipment and means of transport; Exposure to chemical, carcinogenic and mutagenic agents, asbestos on construction sites; Exposure to physical agents on construction sites: noise and vibration; Fire and explosion risk in mining activities and construction sites; Activities on road locations.
